James W. (Soupy)Zimmer on March 17, 2018 of Newfield, Franklin Township. Age 69. Loving husband of Joyce A. (nee Morgan). Beloved son of Edna McKnight of Philadelphia. Dear nephew of Charles and Grace Macken of Tennessee. Devoted father of Brian Zimmer (Rhonda) of Franklinville, Jay Zimmer (Tina) of Virginia, Tim Zimmer (Jessica) of Malaga and the late Virginia Zimmer. Grandfather of Brian Jr., Alaina, Alexis, Devon, Jillian, Jacob and Gracie. Also survived by his loving sisters and brother.
Jim was a US Army Vietnam Veteran. He was an electrician for PSE&G at the Salem Nuclear Plant and was an avid fisherman.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 10am to 11am at Hope Assembly of God Church, 377 Dutch Mill Rd., Newfield, NJ 08344. Memorial Service 11am in the Church. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Police Unity Tour Chapter 2, 1571 Delsea Dr., Franklinville, NJ 08322.
