(West Deptford, NJ)—Under Executive Order No. 144, the July 7 Primary will be primarily Vote-By-Mail (VBM). This means that the general public must Vote-By-Mail instead of the traditional in person voting. All active registered Democrats and Republicans have automatically received a VBM ballot.
Your VBM ballot will include a return postage-paid envelope and can either be put in the mail OR deposited in one of five (5) secure drop boxes located throughout the County OR delivered directly to the Board of Elections. POLLING LOCATIONS FOR NJ PRIMARY (Provisional and Unaffiliated Voters declaring a party)
Executive Order No. 144 states that each County must open a minimum of at least one (1) polling place in each municipality and counties are required to have a minimum of 50% of their polling places available to voters. Individuals who vote in person will cast provisional paper ballots, but voters with disabilities may use ADA-accessible voting machines. You must vote in the municipality in which you reside. Please note that Vote-By-Mail ballots will NOT be accepted at any polling locations. Poll workers will ensure six-foot distancing among voters and regularly sanitize high-touch surfaces. Poll workers will also get breaks for hand-washing. Poll workers and voters are asked to wear face coverings.
