HEROIN DISTRIBUTION ARREST IN MONROE
Concluding a three-month investigation by the Guns, Gangs and Narcotics Task Force of the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office, Thomas J. Shepardson age 37, of Williamstown was arrested on Thursday, March 9th on charges of possession and distribution of heroin. The arrest in a motor vehicle stop followed execution of a court-approved search warrant for Shepardson’s residence on Wednesday 3/8, at which time he was not at home. Seized in the search were 35 wax folds of heroin. Warrants were then signed for Shepardson’s arrest. In addition to two counts of third-degree distribution of heroin and two counts of third-degree possession of heroin, Shepardson is charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. He was placed in the Salem County Correctional Facility without bail pursuant to current bail reform standards.
