Henry William Cannon, Sr. – Obituary

Henry William Cannon, Sr., age 74, of Franklinville, NJ, passed away on January 22, 2020. Born in Darby, PA to Henrietta and James Cannon, he was the fifth of twelve children. At the age of 23, he married Jayne Clarke and began his family and career as a painter. They had three children and resided in Franklinville, NJ. Hank coached his children in softball and baseball. He was the owner of HJC Painting. Hank enjoyed: fishing, crabbing, camping, spending time with his children/grandchildren, playing horseshoes at Cannon family gatherings, taking his walks, playing the lottery, and watching/attending Flyers & Phillies games with family. He also had a large heart for animals and loved watching his grandchildren grow up together. Hank was a devoted father to Tracy Cioffi (Tony), Denise Burns (Louie Crescitelli) and Henry Cannon, Jr. (Rhi). Loving grandfather of Cody (Deonna), JT (Shannon), Dalton (Rachel), Mason (Ben), Gaven, Aidan, Landon, Peyton, Hunter, Nathan, and Colton. Loving great grandfather of Blake & expecting a second great grandchild in August 2020. Dear brother of Henrietta Hasselman, James Cannon (Eleanor), John Cannon (Carol), Robert Cannon (Joan), William Cannon (Joanne), Michael Cannon, Florence Rode (Steve), Marianne O’Connor (Don), Thomas Cannon (Doreen), Daniel Cannon and the late Patrick Cannon (LuAnne). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
