Harry Charles Gillen of Franklinville on Thursday, April 30, 2020. Age 90. Husband of 45 years to the late Doris Joan (nee Weaver) Gillen. Father of Carol Ann Owen of Clayton, Michael Charles Gillen of Clayton, Mark C. Gillen of Franklinville, Roseann Marie Tayvinski of Vineland, and the late Harry John Gillen and the late Irene C. Brown. Grandfather of Tammy Lynn Brown, Christina Deschler, Patrick Gillen, Amber Brown, Sean Gillen, Lindsay Gillen, Christopher Deschler, Jimmy Keelan, and Gabby Keelan. Great-grandfather of 11. Son of the late John and Catherine (nee Crom) Gillen.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Harry has been a resident of Franklinville for the past 50 years. He proudly served in the US Air Force as an Airman Third Class in the 3750th Medical Group. Harry worked as a truck driver for 30 years for General Electric. He was a skilled mechanic and a talented woodworker and enjoyed groundwork around his home, Harry absolutely loved music and could play the guitar and banjo.
