Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19


As of Sunday, June 28th Gloucester County has conducted 21,081 total tests. Of these cases, 18,532 have come back negative. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 2,549. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 8 cases to report. Of those cases:
The 2542nd case is a 44-year-old female from Harrison Twp.
The 2543rd case is a 29-year-old female from Logan.
The 2544th case is a 28-year-old female from Paulsboro.
The 2545th case is a 33-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 2546th case is a 54-year-old male form Deptford.
The 2547th case is a 47-year-old female from Deptford.
The 2548th case is a 50-year-old male from Pitman.
The 2549th case is a 22-year-old female from Washington Twp.

Gloucester County has 175 COVID-19 related deaths.
The 174th patient death was a 63-year-old male from Woolwich.
The 175th patient death was a 41-year-old male from Paulsboro.


The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases.
New Jersey residents can call 2-1-1 or 1-800-962-1253 with questions. The call center is open 24/7 and has multi-language capacity.
