Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19
As of Saturday, June 27th Gloucester County has conducted 20,982 total tests. Of these cases, 18,441 have come back negative. There have been two cases moved out of county. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 2,541 and has 173 COVID-19 related deaths. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 14 cases to report. Of those cases:
The 2528th case is a 51-year-old male from West Deptford.
The 2529th case is a 17-year-old female from Woolwich.
The 2530th case is an 87-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 2531st case is a 79-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 2532nd case is a 32-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 2533rd case is a 56-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 2534th case is a 43-year-old male from Mantua.
The 2535th case is a 25-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 2536th case is a 20-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 2537th case is an 85-year-old female from Westville.
The 2538th case is a 52-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 2539th case is a 12-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 2540th case is an 18-year-old female from Woolwich.
The 2541st case is a 56-year-old male from Deptford.
The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases.
