Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19
As of Sunday, June 7, 2020 Gloucester County has conducted 15,566 total tests. Of these cases, 13,241 have come back negative and one is pending. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 2,324.
Today, Gloucester County has an additional 9 cases to report. Of those cases:
The 2316th case is a 58-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 2317th case is a 53-year-old male from Franklin Twp.
The 2318th case is a 56-year-old male from Mantua.
The 2319th case is a 49-year-old female from Deptford.
The 2320th case is a 37-year-old female from Mantua.
The 2321st case is a 41-year-old male from Mantua.
The 2322nd case is a 56-year-old female from Franklin Twp.
The 2323rd case is an 82-year-old female from Deptford.
The 2324th case is a 59-year-old female from Deptford.
Gloucester County has 152 COVID-19 related deaths.
The 152nd death 79-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases.
