Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19
As of Sunday, May 31, 2020 Gloucester County has conducted 13,369 total tests. Of these cases, 11,130 have come back negative and one is pending. Two cases have been moved out of County. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 2,236. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 17 cases to report. Of those cases:
The 2220th case is a 70-year-old female from Deptford.
The 2221st case is a 35-year-old male from Woodbury.
The 2222nd case is a 70-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 2223rd case is a 28-year-old male from Deptford.
The 2224th case is a 74-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 2225th case is a 70-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 2226th case is a 77-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 2227th case is a 74-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 2228th case is a 33-year-old female from Harrison Twp.
The 2229th case is a 54-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 2230th case is a 23-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 2231st case is a 45-year-old female from Deptford.
The 2232nd case is a 21-year-old male from Mantua.
The 2233rd case is a 48-year-old female from Mantua.
The 2234th case is a 60-year-old male from Deptford.
The 2235th case is a 34-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 2236th case is a 36-year-old male from Harrison Twp.
Gloucester County has 147 COVID-19 related deaths.
The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had.
At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases.
