GLOUCESTER COUNTY UPDATES ON COVID-19

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services and Office of Emergency Management have announced 22 more positive COVID-19 cases in Gloucester County. As of Tuesday, April 14, 2020 we have conducted 2,784 total tests. Of these cases, 2,143 have come back negative and 21 are pending.
The Gloucester County Department of Health has confirmed that two residents ill with COVID-19 have died. Gloucester County now has 11 confirmed deaths.
The 10th patient death was an 80-year-old female.
The 11th patient death was an 88-year-old female.
The second Gloucester County COVID-19 Testing Site has been scheduled for Thursday, April 16.
Residents 18 and older with symptoms of COVID-19 must call (856) 218-4142 to be prescreened. Please have your insurance information available at this time. Once prescreened, an appointment time will be scheduled.
Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is 584.
The 563rd case is a 37-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 564th case is a 50-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 565th case is a 69-year-old male from Woolwich.
The 566th case is a 79-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 567th case is a 79-year-old male from Washington Twp.
The 568th case is a 56-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 569th case is a 47-year-old female from Woodbury.
The 570th case is a 23-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 571st case is a 58-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 572nd case is a 50-year-old male from Mantua.
The 573rd case is a 56-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 574th case is a 36-year-old male from Harrison Twp.
The 575th case is a 32-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 576th case is a 62-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 577th case is a 51-year-old male from Deptford.
The 578th case is a 39-year-old male from Mantua.
The 579th case is a 55-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 580th case is a 21-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 581st case is a 15-year-old female from Logan Twp.
The 582nd case is a 48-year-old male from West Deptford.
The 583rd case is an 86-year-old female from Deptford.
The 584th case is a 35-year-old female from Paulsboro.
The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had.
At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases.
