GLOUCESTER COUNTY UPDATES ON COVID-19

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services and Office of Emergency Management have announced 36 more positive COVID-19 cases in Gloucester County.The next Gloucester County COVID-19 Testing Site has been scheduled for Thursday, April 16th.
Starting today, Monday, April 13th, residents 18 and older with symptoms of COVID-19 must call (856) 218-4142 to be pre-screened. Please have your insurance information available at this time. Once prescreened, an appointment time will be scheduled.
As of Monday, April 13th we have conducted 2,669 total tests. Of these cases, 2,091 have come back negative and 16 are pending.
This brings Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 cases to 562.
The 527th case is a 57-year-old male from South Harrison Twp.
The 528th case is a 42-year-old female from Greenwich.
The 529th case is a 30-year-old male from Clayton.
The 530th case is a 32-year-old male from Greenwich.
The 531st case is a 72-year-old male from East Greenwich.
The 532nd case is a 66-year-old female from Clayton.
The 533rd case is a 28-year-old female from Deptford.
The 534th case is a 28-year-old female from Clayton.
The 535th case is a 30-year-old male from East Greenwich.
The 536th case is a 46-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 537th case is a 61-year-old male from Mantua.
The 538th case is a 90-year-old female from Washington Twp.
The 539th case is a 28-year-old male from Woodbury.
The 540th case is a 42-year-old female from East Greenwich.
The 541st case is a 35-year-old female from South Harrison Twp.

The 544th case is a 65-year-old female from Deptford.

The 557th case is a 27-year-old male from Woolwich.
The 558th case is a 68-year-old male from Wenonah.
The 559th case is a 62-year-old male from East Greenwich.
The 560th case is a 21-year-old male from Monroe Twp.
The 561st case is a 39-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The 562nd case is a 24-year-old female from Monroe Twp.
The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had.
At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. A mask should only be worn if a healthcare professional recommends it.
