Gloucester County Updates On COVID-19
As of Friday, October 23, 2020 Gloucester County has conducted 71,153 total tests. Of these cases, 65,649 have come back negative. Two cases have been moved out of county. Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 case count is now 5,520. Today, Gloucester County has an additional 44 cases to report. Of those cases:

The 5486th case is a 59-year-old female from Deptford. The 5487th case is a 33-year-old female from Mantua. The 5488th case is an 89-year-old female from East Greenwich. Gloucester County has 235 COVID-19 related deaths. The 233rd patient death was an 80-year-old female from East Greenwich. The 234th patient death was an 81-year-old female from East Greenwich. The 235th patient death was a 72-year-old male from Harrison Twp. The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had. At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise.
