GLOUC COUNTY – TOTAL POSITIVE COVID-19 CASES RISES TO 19

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services and Office of Emergency Management have announced six more positive COVID-19 cases in Gloucester County.
This brings Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 cases to 19.
The 14th case is a 46-year-old female from West Deptford.
The 15th case is a 49-year-old male from Mullica Hill.
The 16th case is a 72-year-old female from Washington Township.
The 17th case is a 27-year-old male from Woolwich.
The 18th case is a 21-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 19th case is a 66-year-old female from Woolwich.
The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had.
At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. A mask should only be worn if a healthcare professional recommends it.
