GIBBSTOWN MAN CHARGED WITH METH DISTRIBUTION
Following a three-month investigation by the Guns, Gangs and Narcotics Task Force of the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office, Douglas E. Beumler age 44, of Gibbstown was arrested and charged with distribution of methamphetamine, cocaine, Xanax and marijuana. Beumler is being held without bail following his arrest in Logan Township and execution of a search warrant at his residence on 3/15/17 in which 1.9 ounces of cocaine, 3.4 ounces of methamphetamine, two pounds of marijuana, 181 Xanax pills, four suboxone pills and $6,630 in currency was seized.Assisting agencies were the Logan and Greenwich Township police departments and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
“This arrest would not have been possible without the efforts of the Greenwich and Logan police departments and the ATF,” said Gloucester County Prosecutor Sean F. Dalton. “We appreciate everyone’s efforts in making our community safer.”
Beumler is charged with eight counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance; three counts of distribution of methamphetamine under one-half ounce; three counts of second-degree distribution of cocaine and methamphetamine in a quantity between one-half ounce and five ounces; distribution of Xanax; distribution of less than five pounds of marijuana and conspiracy to distribute more than one-half ounce of methamphetamine.
