FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR CHARGED

The Franklin Township Police Department has concluded a criminal investigation into misconduct by a township employee with the arrest of Charles M. Bosco, age 53 of Malaga.   Bosco, who currently serves as the Director of Franklin Township Public Works was arrested Wednesday (3/20) and charged with the following offenses:

Official Misconduct (2 counts) 2nd degree offense

Criminal Sexual Contact (1 count) 4th degree offense

The Franklin Township Police Department initiated its investigation on receiving a complaint that Bosco was engaging in inappropriate sexual behavior or conduct at the workplace.   The investigation into this alleged conduct yielded evidence of unauthorized use of petty cash funds at the Public Works Department.   Bosco was processed and released after being served a Complaint/Summons.  Charges in this case were authorized by the Gloucester County Prosecutors Office.
