FRANCES M. HAHN -Obituary

Frances Mildred Hahn, 73, of Interlachen, Florida passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the Putnam Community Medical Center in Palatka. Frances was born in Philadelphia, PA and was raised in Franklinville, NJ. She resided in New Jersey for many years and worked as a housekeeping aide for Underwood Memorial Hospital in Woodbury, NJ. She also drove a school bus for Delsea Regional School District in Franklinville. She later moved to West Virginia and eventually settled in Interlachen. Frances attended the First United Methodist Church of Interlachen. She enjoyed the beach, gardening, crocheting, her family, friends and pets. She never met a stranger and was loved by many.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Joseph Harry and Julia Cornelia Ecker, Sr. and two infant children, James Arthur Shepherd III and Frances Shepherd. Surviving are her husband, Glenn Hahn of Interlachen; a daughter, Anita Shepherd Sperling of Alaska; a son, Henry W. Shepherd (April) of New Jersey; a son-in-law, Jackey L. Sperling of Las Vegas, NV; a sister, Naomi Steigerwalt (Albert) of New Jersey; a brother, Joseph Harry Ecker, Jr. of Florida; many nieces and nephews and four grandchildren, Dale Alexander Sperling (Jennifer) of Texas, Hank Ryan Shepherd of New Jersey, Charles “Bailey” Sperling of Alaska, and Adrianna Marie Shepherd (Chris) of New Jersey, and a great grandchild, C.J.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Masters Funeral Home Interlachen Chapel with the Rev. A.C. Myers officiating.Friends may sign the online register at www.themastersfuneralhomes.com. Masters Funeral Home of Interlachen is assisting the family.
