Estella M. Foster (nee Mitchell), 87, of Franklinville, NJ, passed away on April 22, 2024, surrounded by her family. Loving mother to Amanda Scott of Sewell, Edwin (Shawn) Foster of Vineland, Steven Foster of Franklinville, and Brian (Sue) Foster of Franklinville. Adoring grandmother to Doug Scott, James E. Scott, Christian Scott, Adam (Danielle) Foster, Jamie (Craig) Hilliard, Steven Foster, Reanna Foster, Sabrina (Tom) Rutledge, Sam Foster, and Stacey (Tom) Flora. She is survived by her two sisters, Dorothy Delia and Catherine Zieger, twelve great-grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Wife to the late Edwin “Austin” Foster. Daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah (nee Bender) Mitchell. Sister of the late Jimmy, Tommy, Laura, Bert, and Sally. Mother-in-law to the late James Scott and the late Karen Foster. Grandmother to the late David Scott.
Estella was born and raised in Clayton for 17 years where she attended Clayton High School before moving to Franklinville 70 years ago. She worked in the glass industry for over thirty years as a selector and packer with Kimble Glass until her retirement in 1999.
Estella enjoyed many things in life. When she was younger, she had won swimming trophies at Iona Lake. She enjoyed all types of sports but was especially a fan when it came to the Phillies and Eagles. When Estella would sit back, relax, and watch TV, it would always be on the Life Time and Hallmark channels. She was a supporter of the local police and fire departments, as well as the Wounded Warriors, and would often make donations to them. Estella will be deeply missed by many.
