Emma C. Clevenger (nee Jillard) passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Age 73. Wife of 47 years to Ronald D. Clevenger. Mother of Tina Hawkey; Ronald D. Clevenger, Jr. and his wife Terri (nee Uron); and Willis W. Clevenger and his wife Heather (nee Spangler). Grandmother of William C. Porch, III; Erik N. Porch and his wife Alexis (nee Hall); Caleb J. Clevenger; Seth M. Clevenger; Emily R. Clevenger, Ava R. Clevenger, Josh Uron, and Rebecca Uron. Daughter of the late Richard Jillard and the late Emma Wilbur (nee McCormick). Sister of Richard Jillard and his wife Michelle, Robert Jillard, Robert Wilbur, and Sharon Kardos (nee Wilbur) and her husband Fran Kardos. Sister-in-law of Wanda Rath (nee Clevenger) and Cathy Conover.
Born in Elmer and raised in Franklinville and Clayton, Emma has been a resident of Franklinville for the past 47 years. She enjoyed doing ceramics, crocheting, painting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Emma loved her dogs, especially the Dobermans.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312.
