EDWARD BERNARD MCDANIELS, JR. – Obituary

Edward Bernard McDaniels, Jr. of Clayton, passed away on April 9, 2019, at the age of 28 years. Loving son of Edward B. McDaniels, Sr.,  Yolanda Wyatt (Irizarry) and step-father Brian Wyatt. Dear father of Domonic L. Walters of Hi-Nella and Isabella A. McDaniels of Clayton. Loving brother of Xavier R. McDaniels, Mercedez McDaniels, Giovanni McDaniels, Kianna McDaniels and Karmen Green all of Clayton. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins.
As a young boy growing up in Clayton NJ, Edward loved playing sports and became a huge sports enthusiast including some of his favorite teams like the NY Giants and Miami Heat. He was a loving father to his two children which lead him to see there was more to life. With his life experiences, he began to write, produce and have his voice heard as he performed his own music. In his music, he shared his raw emotions to the world which you can feel in every song that he wrote and performed. He will forever be known as Ed Oz’s, especially in the Atlantic City and South Jersey area. Edward was an entrepreneur, not letting anything get in his way.  Showing others how brilliant his mind was. He was a kind hearted soul that many times has given everything to receive nothing in return if someone needed it. Leaving behind new unused clothes for someone else. Giving protection and shelter to frail and scared friends. He will be sadly missed by every person that has known him. This world will feel the loss as our heavens will embrace his soul. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Monday, May 6, 2019, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312 with a  memorial service beginning at 8:00 PM.  Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
