Dorothy Mae Toldt
August 27, 1934 – November 28, 2021
Dorothy Mae Toldt 87 of Williamstown passed away at United Methodist Communities on November 28, 2021. She was born in Westville, NJ to the late Charles and Dorothy (nee Lions) Riley.
Dorothy served in the US Army from 1954 to 1956. She worked at Rohm and Haas for 35 years until retiring, and then worked for Greentree Mortgage for three years and Monroe Savings Bank for eight years. Known as Dot to many, she was a quiet and kind soul who enjoyed NASCAR races, western TV shows, country music, bus trips, and most especially she loved cats.
She is survived by her beloved son, Charles Toldt, Sr. (Jo-Ann); her grandchildren, Charles Toldt, Jr. (Dawn), Wayne Reehle, Jr. (Liesl), Melanie Hoover (Scot) and Justin Toldt (Lidia Wilczynska); her great grandchildren Wayne and Evelyn; and siblings Charles Riley, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Barbara Riley.
Dorothy is predeceased by her parents, Charles and Dorothy Riley and her dear Aunt, Sister Elizabeth Riley.
Family and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barclay Funeral Home, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312. A Memorial Service with military honors will follow at 11:00 AM.
