DONALD M. HEALY, JR. – Obituary

Donald M. Healy Jr. – Born August 18, 1945, Died June 24, 2026. Survived by his loving wife of 59 years Mary Ellen Healy (Hanna), his daughters Mimi Hall (Jim) of Somerdale and Kelly Ambrosino (Biagio) of Williamstown and his son Matthew of Glassboro, 5 loving grandchildren JR Hall (Katie), Megan Hall, Christopher Martucci, Lilyanna Martucci and Antonio Ambrosino. Beloved brother of Barbara Santilli (Peter). As well his Aunt Dolores Campanella, numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his parents Donald M. Healy, Sr. and Agnes (Wagner) Healy.

Don was a member of the first graduating class from St. Augustine Preparatory School in 1963 and in 2003 was inducted into their Alumni Hall of Fame for Athletics. He then attended Villanova University graduating in 1967 and earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Don worked at the Budd Company for 33 years and retired in 2001 as the company’s engineering manager. While at the Budd Company he was on the board and served as the President of their Athletic Association. He was also the president of the Budd Company’s Employee Exchange which oversaw a scholarship program for employee’s children.

Don was a member of the Church of the Nativity, Parish of Saint Michael the Archangel, where he was a lector, Eucharistic minister and served on the parish council. He was also a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6890, Saint Catherine of Siena Church in Clayton.

However, his greatest accomplishment was being a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the R.C. Church of the Nativity, 2677 Delsea Drive, Franklinville, NJ 08322.  Funeral mass to begin at 12:45 PM, followed by an entombment at All Saints Cemetery in Franklin Township.  Sign the guestbook and send condolences at BarclayFuneralHome.net.
