DOMINIC JOSEPH DIPIETRO – Obituary

Dominic Joseph DiPietro, 87, of Glassboro NJ passed away on September 29, 2019 at the NJ Veteran’s Memorial Home in Vineland, NJ.

Dominic was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Vincent and Rita (D’Alessandro) DiPietro. He received an honorable discharge from the US Army where he served during the Korean War from 1951-1953. He worked as a Union Carpenter, Philadelphia Local 153 for many years before retiring and starting his own company. Dominic was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 6890 Clayton, NJ and the Legion of Mary Malaga, NJ.

Dominic is survived by his wife of over twenty years, Rose (Schray) DiPietro. In addition to his wife Rose, Dominic leaves behind two sons, Vincent DiPietro (Regina) and Peter DiPietro; two daughters Paula Brown (Dave) and Nicole Priore (Tim); stepchildren Al Baum, Tina Cammarta (Fillippo), Diana Prokapus (Michael), Michelle Schwab (Steve) and Jeanine Esposito (Chris); 23 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; his brothers William DiPietro and Albert DiPietro; sister Mary Esposito; and many nieces and nephews.

A church visitation will be held on Monday from 11am to 12pm followed by a funeral mass at 12:00 pm from Saint Bridget University Parish, 125 Church Street, Glassboro. Interment will follow in Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Monroe Township.
