Delsea came into the week with a record of 8-5 and had three games ahead in the week. On Tuesday, January 28th they played against Cumberland, Thursday they played at Deptford, and on Friday (1/31) they played Gloucester Catholic. They beat Cumberland 68-31 to move to 9-5 on the season. Jerry Surrency led Delsea with 24 points including five three pointers, Trey Simmons behind Surrency with 13 points, six rebounds, three assists. Brandon Falls also had eight points, seven rebounds, and four blocks for the Crusaders. On Thursday January 30th Delsea (9-5) traveled to play Deptford (8-7). Delsea dropped a tough one 64-61 to the Spartans. Tristian Cornish led Delsea with 22 points and six rebounds. Jerry Surrency and Jimmy Reilly each had ten points for the Crusaders. It was a tough loss as Deptford shot lights out from the field and Delsea struggled on defense. On Friday January 31st Delsea (9-6) traveled to Gloucester Catholic (6-8). Delsea pulled out a tough victory 48-47 over the Rams. Jimmy Reilly led the charge for Delsea with 13 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. Trey Simmons and Tyler Bey each had 12 points, along with ten combined rebounds. Delsea now looks ahead to the next week as they move to a record of 10-6.
