In the final game of the regular season for the Crusaders, they blew out the Bridgeton Bulldogs 48-0. It was one of Delsea’s easier games on the schedule considering they played teams like Burlington Twp, Woodrow Wilson, West Deptford and Camden throughout the season. Delsea started the scoring quick when Aidan Borguet punched in his first of 4 touchdowns for the 2nd straight game. Keison Fowler added the 2 point conversion. Delsea kicked the ball off and recovered the kick. Quarterback Damir Lomax added to Delsea’s lead, and Borguet added the 2 point conversion. Delsea was up 16-0 and their defense hadn’t touched the field yet. Bridgeton coughed up the football again on their next possession and Delsea recovered. Borguet broke a few tackles on his next run and then juked the last man adding his 2nd touchdown of the night. Lomax added the 2 point conversion.

The first quarter was over and Delsea was up 24-0. Bridgeton punted the ball back to Delsea and Borguet went to work again. A couple plays later he shot through the hole and scored his 3rd touchdown of the night. Lomax added the 2 point conversion again. Bridgeton fumbled for the 3rd time and Linebacker Ronald Singletary recovered. Borguet repeated the same thing on this drive and added his 4th touchdown on the night. The score was 40-0 at halftime and Delsea was subbing younger players in to get varsity time. They did this to rest starters for the playoffs that begin next weekend. Running Back Shaikyi Hannah added one more score for Delsea when he ripped off a 60 yard touchdown yard run of his own. Fowler added the 2 point conversion which put Delsea up 48-0. Delsea will find out who they will play in the first round of the playoffs when the brackets are released. It will be home at John A. Oberg field as Delsea is a possible number 1 or 2 seed.
