David Patrick Dougherty on Tuesday, February 4, 2020. Age 56. Son of the late Eugene F. and Hazel V. (nee Schneeman) Dougherty. Brother of Eugene F. Dougherty, Jr. (wife Elizabeth), James A. Dougherty (wife Carllynn), and Francis E. Dougherty (wife Mildred). Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
David will always be remembered by the special ability he had of capturing everyone’s heart who met him. He could turn any room into a ballroom with his amazing dance moves, contagious smile, and laugh. He absolutely loved everyone. You were either his friend, buddy or even girlfriend. David had fulfilled a very good life. He got to do many things that he enjoyed including traveling, bowling, skiing, roller skating, eating his junk food and just being an all-around kid himself at heart!
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, February 15, 2020, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312. Memorial service at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Inurnment Cedar Green Cemetery, Clayton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in David’s memory to Saint John of God Community Services, 1145 Delsea Drive, Westville, NJ 08093.
