A lifelong racing enthusiast, Dave not only followed NASCAR but for many years owned, built, drove, and pit-crewed dirt track stock cars. His love of line dancing and the many friends he made, took him to dance events in several states and even to Canada and Venezuela. Dave was also an avid boater and water skier, but it was his love of snow skiing that for many years regularly took Dave and his wife Pat to mountains throughout New England and out west to the Rockies. Dave loved to be outside and liked to work in his vegetable garden. He would often share his bounty with friends and neighbors. He enjoyed reading a good book when he had the time. Dave also enjoyed “game nights” with family and friends and was very competitive. Dave was an all-around good guy and helped others whenever he could.
