COVID-19 UPDATES – Gloucester County

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services and Office of Emergency Management have announced 37 more positive COVID-19 cases in Gloucester County.
As of Friday, April 10, 2020 we have conducted 2,264 total tests. Of these cases, 1,788 have come back negative and 22 are pending.
This brings Gloucester County’s total positive COVID-19 cases to 454.
The 418th case is a 62-year-old male from Washington Township.
The 419th case is a 34-year-old male from South Harrison Township.
The 420th case is a 39-year-old female from Paulsboro.
The 421st case is a 49-year-old male from Harrison Township.
The 422nd case is a 60-year-old male from Monroe Township.
The 423rd case is a 32-year-old female from Franklin Township.
The 424th case is a 20-year-old female from Monroe Township.
The 425th case is a 51-year-old female from West Deptford.
The 426th case is a 63-year-old female from National Park.
The 427th case is a 43-year-old female from East Greenwich.
The 428th case is a 67-year-old male from Logan.
The 429th case is a 60-year-old male from West Deptford.
The 430th case is a 66-year-old male from Pitman.
The 431st case is a 42-year-old male from Harrison Township.
The 432nd case is a 64-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 433rd case is a 55-year-old female from Wenonah.
The 434th case is a 63-year-old male from Deptford.
The 435th case is a 64-year-old female from Woolwich.
The 436th case is a 47-year-old male from East Greenwich.
The 437th case is a 47-year-old male from Swedesboro.
The 438th case is a 57-year-old female from Woolwich.
The 439th case is a 44-year-old female from Swedesboro.
The 440th case is a 31-year-old female from East Greenwich.
The 441st case is a 26-year-old male from Wenonah.
The 442nd case is a 36-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 443rd case is a 24-year-old female from Elk.
The 444th case is an 18-year-old female from Deptford.
The 445th case is a 66-year-old male from Woolwich.
The 446th case is a 29-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 447th case is a 66-year-old male from Glassboro.
The 448th case is a 66-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 449th case is a 28-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 450th case is a 41-year-old female from Franklin Township.
The 451st case is a 46-year-old female from West Deptford.
The 452nd case is a 25-year-old female from Glassboro.
The 453rd case is a 64-year-old female from Deptford.
The 454th case is a 41-year-old male from West Deptford.
The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had.
At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing cases. A mask should only be worn if a healthcare professional recommends it.

Most people with mild symptoms do not need to be tested. It is important to stay home and isolate from others while sick.
