CHRISTOPHER MICHAEL DESCHLER, JR. – Obituary

Christopher Michael Deschler, Jr. of Woodstown on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. Age 34. Father of Rayna, Serenity, Mayzie, and Avrie Deschler. Son of Christopher Michael Deschler, Sr. (wife Arlene J. Hamilton) and Roseann Marie Gillen. Brother of Christina Deschler, Jordan Bilicki (wife Becca), James Keelan, and Gabrielle Keelan (fiance Evan). Special cousin to Debora Marghilano and many others. Uncle to his very special niece, Payton Deschler.

Born in Washington Township and raised in Vineland and later Clayton, Christopher has been a resident of Woodstown for the past 7 years. He attended Clayton High School. Christopher worked at Walmart in Vineland stocking shelves at night and later as a laborer in the mason shop at Rowan University. Most recently, he had been a manager of Staples in Glassboro prior to its closing.

Since a very young age, Christopher loved to be on stage. His passion was as a DJ, and the normally quite shy Christopher would become an amazing performer when he assumed the persona of his alter ego as DJ Noize Shock in the Goth-Industrial Scene. He was very well known in the tri-state area and had a fan base that extended across the country.

In his youth, Christopher enjoyed sports and liked going to the Eagles training camp and attending games. His first venture in performing came during high school when he ran for Mr. Clayton. Christopher was really into video games and became a master of “Overwatch”, a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter game. Always the performer, he also enjoyed LARPing (Live Action Role Playing) which often involved camping, another favorite pastime. Christopher was a lover of all species of animals, especially cats and even skunks! His greatest love, however, was being able to see his daughters.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312 with a Celebration of Life beginning at 8:00 PM. Sign the guestbook at BarclayFuneralHome.net.
