CHRISTOPHER LEE HAINES – Obituary

Christopher Lee Haines of Franklinville passed away peacefully on Friday, March 10, 2023. Loving husband of 21 years to Danielle Marie Haines (nee Nahaczewski). Beloved father of Kaitlyn & Nicole Haines of Franklinville. Son of Sue (nee Hood) and Charles Haines, Jr. of Clayton. Brother of Charles Haines, III (Leea) of Newfield and Uncle to Austin Hickman. Further survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Born in Vineland and raised in Clayton where he attended Clayton High School, Christopher moved to Franklinville 8+ years ago. He was an ASE Certified and a Chrysler Goldstar Certified Technician who worked at many car dealerships throughout the years. His dream one day was to own his own business. His dream finally came true when he opened Haines’ Auto Repair in 2016, currently in Newfield.

Christopher was loving, kind and had a big heart. Always going the extra mile to help someone in need whether it was just words of advice or passing on his experience to others. Giving wherever he can. Christopher was known for his infectious laugh and his Irish sarcasm.

Christopher loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing even if it was just to sit outside at a bonfire telling one of his stories. He also loved his Harley and taking long rides with his wife on the back, either alone or with FireBase Nam MC. A firefighter since the age 18, Christopher was a lifetime member of the Clayton Fire Department and was currently a member of the Franklinville Fire Department. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge #166 of Williamstown.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312.
