CHARLES BURTON HEVELOW- Obituary
Charles Burton Hevelow of Clayton on Friday, February 23, 2024. Age 67. Husband of 49 years to Suzanne Hevelow (nee Leckner). Father of Christian Hevelow, his wife Megan, and their children Zachary, Riley, and Joshua all of Newark, DE and of Kellie Rodriguez, her husband Jimmy, and their children Elijah, Ethan, and Matthew all of Clayton, NJ and Miguel of Puerto Rico. Brother of the late David Hevelow, Michael Hevelow, and Gary Lynn.
Born in Elkton, MD and raised in Deptford, NJ, Charles was a 1974 graduate of Deptford High School and has been a resident of Clayton for the past 45 years. He worked for Holman Ford in Maple Shade as a Service Advisor for 20+ years until his retirement in 2020.
Charles absolutely loved golfing and spending time with his family. Trips to the beach at Ocean City with the grandchildren and family were amongst his favorite. He enjoyed cheering on his grandchildren in each of their events. Charles cherished time with Suzanne going on day trips, visiting craft shows, riding through Lancaster, and going antiquing. He liked to feed the birds in his backyard and relax while watching from the back door or from the deck.
