BURGLARY ARREST
Clayton – On 11/23/16, a 44 year old female Jayne K. Childress of Clayton was arrested for eight separate Burglaries/Criminal Trespass. Seven of which occurred in the Borough of Clayton and one occurred in the Borough of Glassboro. On 11/23/16, the suspect Jayne K. Childress forced entry into a residence on the 100 block of Jerrys Ave. Residents were in the home at the time of the burglary and called police. The suspect fled the scene but was located and subsequently arrested. Through the investigative process Jayne K. Childress was linked to an additional six Burglaries/Criminal Trespasses in the Borough of Clayton. In addition approximately $500 worth of property was recovered and returned to some of the previous victims. See below for list;

The suspect Jayne K. Childress was charged with six (6) counts of Burglary, four (4) counts of Criminal Mischief, five (5) counts of theft, two (2) counts of Possession of Burglary Tools, and one (1) count of Criminal Trespassing. Hon. Judge Thomas Heim was contacted and placed $100,000.00 bail on the suspect. The suspect was unable to post bail and was incarcerated at Salem County Jail. Sgt. John Dick, Sgt.
