Brett Albert Manton, a caring brother, uncle, great-uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, left this world for his heavenly home to be with Jesus on January 6, 2025, at the age of 56. He was born to the late Albert and Louise Manton of Franklinville, NJ, on March 3, 1968. As a child, Brett enjoyed fishing, playing Little League, Dungeons and Dragons, and playing the saxophone. During his teenage years, he became an avid hunter and was also a passionate Philadelphia sports enthusiast.
After graduating from high school, Brett was employed by the State of NJ as a Turnpike toll collector.
He is survived by his sisters, Brenda (Roger) Hurley and Bonnie (Tom) Zuccarini, along with his nieces and nephews: Mark Frye Jr., Kara Manton, Kristen (Steve) Barber, Bo Manton, Leno Zuccarini, David (Amy) Miller, and Emily Zuccarini. He is deeply missed by his great-nephews, Preston Prawl, Rory Sprague, and Redd Frye. Additionally, he is remembered by his Aunt Marian Sherman, Uncle Ted Manton, and Jeff Bell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Louise, and his brother, Bruce Manton.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312. Celebration of Life will begin at 6:30 PM at the Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Eglington Cemetery, 320 Kings Highway, Clarksboro, NJ 08020.
