BETTY GRACE GOODMAN
Betty Grace Goodman (nee Seiverling) on Saturday, January 7, 2017. Age 94. Wife of 58 years to Wilber L. Goodman. Mother of Shane Goodman and his companion Diane Margiotta and also to the late Timothy McCuen. Grandmother of Kathleen McCuen, Kelly McCuen, Shaun McCuen, Cole Goodman, and Victoria Goodman. Great-grandmother to several. Sister of the late Beanie Seiverling, Bishy Seiverling, and Jane Witz. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late William and Grace (nee Allwyne) Seiverling.
Born in Elizabethtown, PA, Betty was raised and lived in Drexel Hill, PA until moving to Ewan, NJ 45 years ago. She was a graduate of Upper Darby High School and worked as a produce clerk and cashier for Scotts Market in Drexel Hill for many years. Later in life, Betty worked as a cook for the Child Development Center in Glassboro and then for the Harrison Township Elementary School. She enjoyed doing crafts, sewing, cooking, camping, playing the piano, riding her bicycle, and spending time with her husband. Betty was always giving of herself and thinking of others. She often made bibs for the elderly in nursing homes. Her husband Wilbur remembers her cinnamon buns as the best in the world, and her family recalls that everyone who met her liked her.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312. Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hurffville.
