BENJAMIN H. RISTINE, JR.

           Benjamin H. Ristine, Jr. on Thursday, March 16, 2017.  Age 91.  Husband of 59 years to Barbara A. (nee Bird) Ristine.  Father of Donna L. Ristine of Clayton; Karen A. Biron of New Boston, NJ; Michael P. Ristine of Madera, CA; and the late Linda S. Bodine.  Grandfather of 8 and Great-grandfather of 6.  Brother of Paul Ristine of West Chester, PA and Caroline Klimowski of Albertville, AL.  Son of the late Benjamin H. and Mildred E. (nee Naylor) Ristine, Sr.

       Born in Conshohochen, PA, Benjamin was a resident of West Chester, PA, Franklinville, NJ and Harrison Valley, PA before moving to Vineland in 2004.  He proudly served his country during World War II in the US Army 82nd Airborne.  Benjamin was a parts manager for Matlack Trucking Company for 22 years until his retirement in 1982.  He was very active with his children and various youth groups including serving as umpire, coach, and bus driver.  Benjamin was a master scuba diver instructing family and various groups and was founder of the Underwater Recovery Unit with Goodwill Fire Company in West Chester, PA.
