BARBARA ANN CIANO-NEWBURY- Obituary
Barbara Ann Ciano-Newbury of Hurt, VA, passed away on February 26, 2020 at the age of 61.
Devoted Mother of Matthew Gemenden (Jackelyn) of Franklinville, NJ, Loving long time companion of Joseph Smith (Hurt VA), Loving Grandmother of Marianna, Dear Sister of Joanne (Brink) Broughton, Donna Gaytan (Alfred Torres), Joseph Ciano (Betsy), Kevin Ciano (Minda), the late Justin Ciano, Predeceased Mother Marie Ciano (nee Carter), Father Joseph Ciano, survived by Bonnie Ciano (Stepmother), Loving Auntie of 9 Nephews and Nieces, her dog Gizmo and cats Sebastian and Sophia.
Barbara loved the beach (Myrtle), cooking, entertaining, dancing and laughing. Barbara was a free spirit who brought laughter and joy to all who were lucky enough to be in her presence. Her contagious smile and fun personality were the highlight of many gatherings.
Services for Barbara will be held privately as per her and her family’s wishes.
