Barbara A. Walker went home to be with the Lord on February 1, 2021. Barbara was born in Franklinville, NJ on February 16, 1930 to Louis and Elsie Finger. She married Everett Walker on June 25, 1950 and spent the rest of her life in Porchtown, NJ.
Barbara is survived by her children Jim Walker(Judy) of Pittsgrove, NJ, Joanne Ladd of Vineland, NJ. And daughter-in-law Phyllis Walker of Pittsgrove, NJ. Barbara is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Kevin Ladd, Karen Gillespie, Lauren Rzucidlo, Jeffrey Walker and Nicolette Burtulis. Barbara also had nine great grandchildren, Gavin, Gabriel and Blake Gillespie. Emily and Andrew Rzucidlo. Chase, Gracelin, Natalie and Reese Walker.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband of sixty-three years Everett Walker, her son Jeff H. Walker, and her son-in-law Carl Ladd. Barbara was also predeceased by her sister Elaine Marks, her brother Louis Finger Jr., sister-in-law Helen Finger, sister-in-law Betty Coblentz and brother-in-law Samuel D. Walker.
Upon graduating from Clayton High School in 1948 Barbara attended Pierce Secretarial School in Camden, NJ. After finishing secretarial School, Barbara worked at The Fox Company in Newfield, NJ.
Before retiring, Barbara was a medical secretary and a secretary for Walker Brother’s Farm. Barbara was a long time member of the Porchtown Zion United Methodist Church, Porchtown, NJ where she taught Sunday School and was the church secretary. She was a previous member of Centerton Christian Women’s Club.
Barbara and her husband enjoyed traveling all over South Jersey as members of a square dancing club.
Most important to Barbara was spending time with her family. With her family she had a smile that could light up a room. She loved watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren play sports and she looked forward to a yearly summer vacation in Ocean City, NJ with her family.
Barbara loved cheering for her favorite teams The Eagles and the Phillies.
A graveside service was held on February 6, 2021 for the immediate family at Porchtown United Methodist Church led by The Reverend Beth Caulfield of Franklinville United Methodist Church.
The Barclay Funeral Home, Clayton, NJ, has been entrusted with arrangements.

A memorial service for Barbara will be held at a later date.
