Anthony Joseph Magliocco , 84, of Malaga, NJ, passed away peacefully at home Sunday March 29, 2026. Anthony was born in Glassboro, NJ to parents Louis A. Magliocco, Sr. and Nancy (D’Amico) Magliocco, and resided in Malaga, NJ his whole life. Anthony was a celebrated teacher of 37 years in the New Jersey education system, spending most of that tenure at Glassboro Intermediate School teaching 7th and 8 th grade math. Even after retirement, he spent time substituting and teaching in the Catholic School system. He was an inspiration to countless students throughout his career. Anthony was well known for his quick wit, gentle demeanor, and welcoming smile. He always had a story or a joke for his friends, neighbors, and even people he just met. His persona warmed any room he walked into and he made friends wherever he went.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Gloria (Leshay) Magliocco, two sons Michael A. Magliocco of Malaga, NJ and Mark J. Magliocco of Rehoboth Beach, DE, as well as his brother Louis Magliocco Jr. of Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 9:00am until 11:00am at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish/St. Rose of Lima Church, 104 Catawba Ave., Newfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am. Interment will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. In lieu of flowers, the family requests all donations to Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish 104 Catawba Ave, Newfield, NJ 08344.
