ANNA ELIZABETH ECKBOLD – Obituary
Anna Elizabeth Eckbold (nee Nessel) on Wednesday, February 12, 2020. Age 88. Wife of 68 years to the late George Victroy Eckbold. Mother of Michael W. Eckbold and the late George A. (wife Susan) Eckbold. Grandmother of Jessica L. Eckbold. Daughter of the late John and Emma (nee Pfeffer) Nessel. Sister of the late John C. Nessel, Frank Nessel, Robert Nessel, and Irene Holbert. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Also survived by many dear friends.
Born in Harrisburg, PA, Anna lived in Newfield until her marriage to George when they moved to the Janvier Section of Franklin Township where she has lived for the past 70 years. She was a former member and past president of the Janvier Ladies Auxiliary. Anna enjoyed traveling and going to the casinos and liked cooking and baking cakes and pies.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, February 17, 2020, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312. Funeral service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
