Ann Marie Simmons (nee Zaccario) of Clayton on Saturday, July 16, 2022. Age 68. Civil Partner of 22 years to Deborah Jeanne Baldwin (nee Jackson). Mother of Annemarie Elizabeth Dobson (Joe) and Jennifer Lynn Kier (late Mark). Grandmother of Lauren Dobson, Alicia Sparks, Jessica Kier, Harley Kier, and Melissa Hughes. Great-grandmother of 5. Daughter of Patricia Ann Ball (nee Crawford). Sister of Kathleen Ball, Patty Duncan, Karen Zaccario, Dawn Zaccario, Donna Price, William Zacarrio, and the late Jimmy Zaccario, John Zaccario, and Susie Zaccario. Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Philadelphia and a resident of Clayton for the past 23 years, Ann attended Mastbaum High School in Philadelphia. She worked as a store manager for K-Mart in Glassboro for 34 years until her retirement in 2016 and continued working post-retirement as a cashier for the Heritage’s Dairy Store in Clayton. Ann loved her dogs and cats but was a real people person with a distinctly recognizable and infectious laugh. She was friendly and caring and loved the customers and employees she worked with. Ann was a hard worker throughout her life and loved spending time with her family.
