Allen Bruce Kargman died unexpectedly in a nursing home on Friday, October 6, 2017. Age 60. Brother of Frances L. Whitson. Son of the late Henry “Harry” and Nellie Matilda (nee Stifelman) Kargman.
Born in Philadelphia, Allen was a lifelong resident of Clayton. He was a graduate of Clayton High School and was a clarinet player in Clayton High School’s band. He later earned an Associates degree from the Antonelli School of Photography in Philadelphia. Allen worked as a photographer for various studios including James Logue’s and also for Hallmark taking yearbook photos. And for many years he specialized in wedding photography.
He later worked for a number of years as a sales associate at Bob’s Little Sport Shop in Glassboro. Allen was a member of Bob’s Gun Club in Glassboro and enjoyed target shooting earning various awards. He was passionate about photography and enjoyed it in his spare time.
Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at 3:00 PM at the Clayton Baptist Church, 110 S. Delsea Drive, Clayton, NJ 08312. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, Attention: Donor Relations, 375 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
