WILLIAM PAPPAS – Obituary

William Pappas of Franklinville on Thursday, August 17, 2017.  Age 92.  Husband of 49 years to the late Shirley Pappas (nee May).  Father of William C. Pappas of Franklinville, NJ and the late Lori Szymanski.  Grandfather of Steven and Michael St. Aubyn.  Brother of Eva Emanuel of Cleveland, OH.

Born and raised in Franklinville, William proudly served in the US Army where he served on the front lines during WWII.  Bill’s unit was awarded several honors. William worked as a foreman for the NJ State Highway Department until his retirement in 1981.  He was very involved with the community and was a volunteer member for 60 years with the Franklinville Fire Company, as well as, a Master Mason. He will be sadly missed by all.
