Theresa Mary Daigle, of Clayton, NJ, on July 26, 2025, in Harrison Township, NJ, at the age of 81. Born on October 15, 1943, in Norwich, Connecticut, she was the beloved daughter of the late Theodore and Mary (née Gaudette) Labrecque.
She is lovingly survived by her children: Bob (Kelly) Lemoine, Donna (Mike) Oehrl, Dana Farris, and April (Meech) Sykes. Theresa was a devoted grandmother to Mike, the late Joey, Jacob, Kaitlyn, Brittany, Jenna, Brian, and Kristina. Her legacy continues through her cherished great-grandchildren: Briana, Jace, Joey, Brooklyn, and Boone. Theresa shared a lifelong bond with her sister and best friend, Claire Shorter, who preceded her in death in May 2025.
A 1961 graduate of Norwich Free Academy, Theresa spent her early years in Norwich, CT before settling in Clayton, NJ, where she became a dedicated and active member of the community. She began her career in housekeeping at Kennedy Hospital and, through perseverance and dedication, advanced to the role of Transport Dispatch Supervisor. From the Stratford location, she managed dispatch operations for all three Kennedy hospitals—Stratford, Cherry Hill, and Washington Township—until her retirement.
Theresa was known for her kind spirit and active lifestyle. She was a regular swimmer at the YMCA in Vineland and served as a community advocate and activity coordinator at Clayton Mews. Her love for the beach was well known among family and friends, and she brought warmth, joy, and dedication to every space she occupied.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312 with a memorial service beginning at 12:00 PM.
