ROWAN FRAT DOUBLES REWARD ON INFO ON HOUSE ARSON

The Phi Psi Fraternity of Rowan University in Glassboro has doubled its reward to $4,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for causing a fire that damaged a house at 411 Hamilton Road in Glassboro, where several members of the fraternity resided. The fire, which was determined to be arson, was reported at 4:16 a.m. on 5/6/17.  There were no injuries. Three occupants at the time of the fire escaped. Several vehicles near the house were damaged. There have been no arrests. The fraternity’s initial $2,000 reward was offered shortly after the fire. The house had been leased from its owner for years as a residence for Phi Psi members. The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office and the Glassboro Police Department are investigating.
