ROUTINE EVICTION LEADS TO ARREST
Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department routine eviction leads to arrest
Gloucester County Sheriff Carmel Morina announced today that a routine eviction in West Deptford on Wednesday, Sept., 6 lead to the seizure of weapons and the arrest of John Nicolosi. At approximately 9 a.m. Wednesday, the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department conducted the eviction at 3 Shiver Lane, West Deptford. Due to the occupants failing to answer the door, the sheriff’s officers contacted a locksmith and forced the eviction making their way into the property. The forced entry resulted in many weapons and firearms, suspected explosive making materials and at least one high capacity magazine being seized from the property. Sheriff Morina said, “The bomb squad searched the property and confirmed that no complete explosives were found on the premises.” Nicolosi, was charged with obstruction and was noncompliant. Pending further investigation, additional charges may be forth coming. A female suspect was also evicted at the time but not arrested.
