Robert Lloyd Raup, Sr. of Clayton on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Age 69. Husband of Carol Raup (nee Buck). Father of Robert Raup, Jr. (Crystal), the late David Raup (Jill, surviving), and Eric Raup (Danielle). Grandfather of Robert, III; Abby; Alyssa; Nikki; Jordan; Gina; Charles; and Matthew. Brother of Sarah Jane (Lloyd) and the late David Raup (Margie, surviving). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Born in Philadelphia and raised in Southwest Philadelphia, Robert has been a resident of Clayton for the past 36 years. He was a 1970 graduate from Bartram High School and earned an Associates Degree in Business from Penn State in 1973. Robert worked for Fox Transportation in South Philadelphia for 10 years and later as a dispatcher with RTC Transportation of Mount Laurel for 30+years.
Robert was a member of the Elysburg Gun + Rod Club in Elysburg, PA; a member of a bowling league in Glassboro; and a member of a Fantasy Football league. He enjoyed watching all kinds of sports, including golf and fishing, and loved playing pinochle and board games.
