NOTICE OF SALE OF PROPERTY
Please be advised that the Commissioners of Fire District No. 1 in the Township of Franklin, County of Gloucester, shall accept sealed bids for the sale of a 1995 KME Pumper (hereinafter referred to as “Firetruck”) which is being sold in an “as-is” condition without express or implied warranties, with a minimum bid of $40,000.00. The vehicle may be inspected by contacting Chief Dana DeCesari at (856) 207-5621.
The sealed bids shall be accepted at the Franklinville Fire Station 181 Swedesboro Road, Franklinville New Jersey, Or by mail at Post Office Box 423, Franklinville, NJ, 08322 on December 16th, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. No bids shall be accepted after the date and time set forth herein. Bids shall be enclosed in an envelope marked 1995 KME Pumper bid. Bids submitted by mail shall be marked on the both the mailing envelope and the bid envelope.
All bidders must submit prior to removal of the Firetruck a certified, cashier’s or bank check for the total amount of the bid submitted. The truck will be available on or after December 31st, 2016
The successful bidder shall be required to remove the Firetruck within 48 hours after the truck is made available by the fire district and execute a hold harmless and indemnification agreement prior to removal of the Firetruck.
The Commissioners reserve the right to accept or reject any bid received.
