Press Release from Franklin Twp Police Department (Glouc County)
On July 27th at around 4 a.m., Franklin Township Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Main Road for a report of a motor vehicle crash into a residence. Upon police arrival, it was determined that a vehicle driven by Steven Davis 29 of Millville was traveling northbound on Main Road when the vehicle left the roadway and struck the front porch of the residence. Immediately after crashing, the vehicle became fully engulfed in flames. Davis was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was not injured. All the occupants of the residence were evacuated and not injured. Charges against Davis are pending and the crash in being investigated by Officer Rocco of the Franklin Township Police Department. Assisting at the scene were members of the Forest Grove FD, Malaga FD, Newfield FD, Minotola FD and Gloucester County EMS
