MICHAEL GEORGE REHM – Obituary

Michael George Rehm, 76, of Clayton passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at home, his favorite place in the world.  Mike will be remembered for his grizzly personality and love for his two sons, daughters-in-law, 4 grandchildren, and great-grandson.

Mike was a picture of stability and reliability. He grew up in Glassboro, where he lived in his childhood home, which his father built, before moving to Clayton in 2007. He started working at PSI in Hurffville while attending Glassboro High School and stayed there for over 31 years until the company closed in the early 2000s. Mike found his second career working in the parts department of auto dealerships, most recently at Performance Dodge in Woodbury.

Mike was an avid NASCAR fan, traveling to two of his favorite racetracks, Dover Downs in Delaware and Watkins Glen in New York, for many years.  He really liked Philly sports, especially the Eagles, but only when they were winning.  Mike loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, grilling, and animals.  He cherished his many pets over the years including his dogs, Yukon, Kimmy, Alex and VO, as well as his cats, TC and Lucy.

Mike is survived by his sons Dave (Kerri) and Joe (Tonya), his grandchildren Elijah (Kelli), Maura, Jonathan, and Trevor, and his great-grandson August.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 208 Maple Street, Clayton, NJ 08312.  The funeral service is at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.  Interment at Saint Bridget RC Cemetery, Glassboro.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Michael to the Gloucester County Animal Shelter, 1200 N. Delsea Drive, Clayton, NJ 08312.  Sign the guestbook at BarclayFuneralHome.net.
