Lorraine Ethel Leeds (nee Sampson) of Franklinville on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Age 76. Wife of 15 years to the late David T. Leeds. Mother of Deborah E (David) Lubelski and Judith (Greg) Hambleton. Grandmother of Zachary and Baylor Lubelski, and Great-grandmother of Liam Hambleton. Sister of Elizabeth Wolfe and Edward Roberts. Daughter of the late David C. and Lorraine D. (nee Culver) Sampson.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Lorraine was a longtime resident of Tabernacle and later Westhampton before moving to Franklinville 10 years ago. After graduating high school, she earned an Associates Degree in Accounting from Burlington County College. Lorraine worked as a bookkeeper for her husband at DT Leeds, Inc. from 1966 to 1985 and then various other places until her retirement in 2008. She was very active at Saint Thomas’ Episcopal Church over the years including the altar guild, church school teacher, and piano player. Lorraine also volunteered at the Samaritan Center in Glassboro.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Saint Thomas’ Episcopal Church, 212 N. Main Street, Glassboro, NJ 08028. Inurnment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Saint Thomas’ Episcopal Church, 212 N. Main Street, Glassboro, NJ 08028.
