Joseph Henry Rossi born on October 1, 1946, passed away peacefully January 1, 2023 at home with family by his side, in Franklinville NJ.
Joseph graduated from Bonner High School Philadelphia, Pennsylvania class of 1964. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Joseph attended Crew Chief F4 Phantoms astronaut training at NASA from 1964-1968, following his training he was an aircraft mechanic at Atlantic Aviation from 1968-1971. After the war he was a successful car mechanic and business owner, a jack of all trades. Joseph was artistic and had a creative mind, in all endeavors.
Devoted husband to his wife Bridget (nee Caldwell) of 34 years, loving father to his daughter Gina Rossi and stepson Kevin Pryzybyszewski (Nicole), and active grandfather to Joseph, Michael, Mia, late Edward, Colin, and Jacob, and a godfather to many. Dear brother of Jean DeLeo-Vieteri, Charles Rossi, and late Francis Rossi. Joseph loved his friends like family and was always ready to lend a helping hand.
A service of remembrance will be held Monday, January 9th 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd, Washington Twp. Funeral Service 12:00 PM. Interment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe’s memory may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
